It's good to be back on the net. I felt so lonely without it!

I've decided to keep this blog going although I won't be posting dolly stuff anymore. I've just moved on from Blythe and friends, I still have Evie & Willow(blythes) as well as Mike the moof, Lyra the lati and my momoko Morgan. They will still get photographed on occasion, I'm just not as obsessed as I used to be.

My photography business is going really well. In fact I plan to open a studio in a near by town in July. I have finally found a suitable premises which is a whole building consisting of two floors. We just have to work out the fine print and we  can start work. I'm thrilled at the thought of working from a studio. It will make life so much easier and hopefully I'll be fairly rich in a year or two ! I plan on taking wedding jobs later in the year also. This is very appealing to me as I LOVE weddings! I'm sure it's an area of photography I can remain enthusiastic about, I can't wait to get started!

I've been dieting for a few weeks and have finally got into it. I'm losing weight at a good rate.  I hate being fat. It's like looking at someone else in the mirror. I'm slowly starting to see myself coming back, I'll leave you with a pic of me and my signed Gina Garan print. This was a gift for making her the black blythe :) i still have fucking hamster cheeks !

I have had no Internet connection at home for almost three months and there are no signs I'll be connected anytime soon. It's a complete nightmare. Orange are SHIT! They are now hijacking our line basically. We don't even have an account with them anymore but due to there being a fault on our line caused by them, we have to wait for them to fix the fault before we can get on with anyone else. It's so frustrating and we've tried everything within our power to sort it out. Whats worse is the so called "fault" is actually just the fact the our line needs to be unplugged from there exchange.
I using dial up write this and it's no fun at all. Oh and its costs a fortune !

So life is busy and mostly good. Lee has been made redundant but should be able to walk straight into another job which is a relief. My photography is going well and we've just returned from Prague which was great ! The kids are brilliant. Lilly got another poem published, that makes three in four years which I think is pretty bloody good for an 11 year old! Danny is a terror. He spends most of his time speaking to me in his "baddy" voice and generally being a little sod. The dogs are great. Susie grows more grumpy everyday and Mal is insane!

Other random stuff thats gone on are:

• I bought a 20" Mac.
  
• I re-decorated my living room.
• We have decided on the kitchen we want.
• I got a bit addicted to Animal crossing :/
• I re-discovered knitting for people instead of dollies.

Thats about it I think.

Lee and I will be celebrating valentines by watching Hot Fuzz I'm SO excited I could pee ^_^

I'm going to be taking a little break from blytheland, especially forums and journals. I'm just a little fed up and disillusioned with the whole thing. My real life is taking a very exciting direction and I need to concentrate on that for now. Infact since I made the decision to let my dolly online time take a back seat, I've been very productive in lots of other areas......I have two more custom dolls commissioned and then thats it.

I will maybe post some things here under my friends only cut but maybe not. I will upload any pics to flickr or perfectly-plastic.co.uk.

So, if you work from home and have internet access, how the bloody hell do you get stuff done? ! I'm finding it very hard to sit here and not wander off to TIB or E-bay or, my favourite Flickr.

Any tips?

My camera arrived this morning. It's bloody brilliant ! It makes my 350d look and feel like a toy. I'm going to have a walk and try it out, see what it's like. I have no room in my kit bag for a dolly though:(

I'll update later with some pics.....

Do any of you run Linux? Lee is going to run our main desktop and I'm a bit worried:/ I think he's going to use Ubuntu...
